In a December 19 editorial published in The Washington Times, Representative Mark Meadows (R-NC) shines light on another “executive action” signed by President Barack Obama and his one-man mission to force ObamaCare on the American people – and it’s just in time for Christmas.

It has to do with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the next stage in the government’s plan to erase our nation’s healthcare system and replace it with ObamaCare whether you like it or not.

According to Rep. Meadows, the CMS has proposed a new regulation – an act of government not voted on by anyone but comes with the force of law – to re-enroll anyone who has not visited the ObamaCare train wreck website to renew their insurance in a cheaper plan of CMS’ choosing.

That’s right.

If you don’t “pick your poison” at the ObamaCare website, the government will do it for you – a move that could “limit access to your doctor, and ultimately make the decision on what is “best” for you.”

And yes, the will do it with their eyes closed.

CMS will pick your plan without knowing your medical history… without knowing if you are currently undergoing treatment or working with a specific doctor… without knowing your financial situation status… and do it all “despite the fact that the millions of people who already enrolled chose the plan that they believed was best for them.”

It’s like flypaper. If you sign up for ObamaCare just once and the CMS we will never let you go.

If you don’t “re-enroll each and every year, CMS will keep you on the plan that it chooses because, after all, CMS knows what’s best and they always make the best decision.” This is Johnathan Gruber insulting consumers as “stupid” on steroids.

To be “fair”, CMS quietly opened a comment period on the new rule that extends until Christmas day which means it could be changed or scrapped – but don’t bet on it.

Rep. Meadows concludes his editorial with this missive. If CMS implements this regulation, Republicans in Congress – with a fatter majority in the House and control of the Senate – will do it for them when the new Congress is sworn in this January.
