Trump Takes On Anti-White Racism In South Africa

President Trump is shining a light on South Africa’s racist plan to confiscate white-owned farms and redistribute them to black people.

In a tweet late Wednesday night, Trump wrote: “I have asked Secretary of State [Mike Pompeo] to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. ‘South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.'”

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa had announced earlier in August that he’s moving forward with efforts to amend the Constitution and steal white-owned land.

After the South Africa’s Apartheid-era white-minority rule ended in 1994, South Africa’s government followed a “willing-seller, willing-buyer” model: meaning that, if white farmers wanted to sell their land, the government would buy it at market rate.

But despite those efforts, whites have continued to own a large percentage of farmland in the country.

Despite the jarring racism of Ramaphosa’s new policies, the mainstream media has dedicated few stories to the plight of white South Africans… but, with President Trump now drawing attention to the news, it could emerge as major news moving forward.
