Kevin Hart is arguably the top-performing comic in Hollywood right now, and when he co-hosted the MTV Music Awards on Monday night, he opened with a Trump joke and not everyone is laughing.
Hart compared his performance to game day, and told the audience they could kneel if they wanted. Then he said, “There is no old white man that can stop you.”
At the end of the opening monologue, Hart took one last shot at Trump by comparing the VMAs to the White House because you never know what is going to happen. Then ended with a “suck it” that seemed to be directed at the president.
Some people are calling for a boycott of Kevin Hart on Twitter because they didn’t like Hart’s comments and anti-Trump sentiment.
#Trumpnation. Let’s stand together and boycott Kevin Hart. Kevin knows better. Don’t disrespect the President. If you don’t like it here leave. Trump’s going to win a second term. Maybe you should buy a one way ticket and don’t come back. Bye!!!!!!

Boycott Boycott Boycott….Kevin Hart show (which is stupid anyway) knock-out! Also don’t purchase the products he promotes. It’s time for NEW RULES WE WIN YOU LOSE. He is another Hollywood douche who cheated on his YOUNG beautiful new wife, and she stayed with him! Why?

Calling for boycotts may be a little much. Some on the right are starting to be snowflakes too. After-all, it’s on MTV and supposed to be edgy. The shots that Kevin Hart took were not that bad if we’re being honest. It’s not like these comments by celebs at the SAG awards.
Compared to Eminem’s rap at the BET awards, Kevin’s jokes are extremely mild.
