Big Tech Employees Overwhelmingly Supporting Democrats In Midterms

Will our elections be Free and Fair as long as Big Tech has this much power?

Companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter have become part of our daily lives and how we receive news, but their bias is starting to show and puts their reputations on the line.

Can big tech companies be unbiased when 92% of all financial donations by employees go to Democrats?

According to the Federal Election Commission, employees at the largest tech companies have given over $2.4 million to Congressional candidates this election cycle.

The donations did not split down party lines. 92% went to Democrats running for House and Senate and 8% went to Republicans.

In 2014, Google Facebook and Twitter employees gave just over $840 million to candidates with $680,000 going to Democrats. About 30% went to Republicans. In fours years that numbers has dropped significantly and the amount donated has more than doubled.

Back in August, President Trump attacked Google, Facebook and Twitter calling searches biased.

With the donations, it is easy to see that the employees definitely are devout Democrats, but is that translating into the product they work to deliver?
