Could President Trump Have The Coronavirus?

On the surface, things look like we have control of the Coronavirus in the United States. The president says that it is under control and even compared the Coronavirus to the average flu.

“So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!” – Trump

Right now, we’ve only had about 200 new cases since he wrote this tweet a day ago, so everything is good, right? Wrong.

As of Tuesday morning, the new Coronavirus tests have not been distributed and only a few thousand have been tested. The CDC is dropping the ball on this one. They are not releasing numbers and it is leaving Americans in a vulnerable state. It is leaving the President in a vulnerable state.

What will it take for Americans to take COVID-19 seriously? Will it take the president getting infected? That is a real possibility.

Just over a week ago, President Trump spoke at CPAC, a national convention held in the DC area. One of the Gold-Level VIP attendees shook hands and met with many conservative leaders found out that he had a confirmed case of Coronavirus after returning from conference.

Some of the leaders that the person met with are now in self quarantine. Ted Cruz and Paul Gosar both decided to isolate themselves to be safe.

Trump’s new chief of staff, Mark Meadows is now in self quarantine.

All of those people met with Trump in the last two weeks. When asked if Trump had been tested for the Coronavirus during a new conference at the White House, he just walked out. (See video here.)

So does Donald Trump have the Coronavirus? We don’t know. People around him have had contact with a known Coronavirus patient. What we do know is that he and the rest of our leadership should be taking more proactive steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the United States.

Many businesses are showing great leadership and canceling major events, despite the financial toll. The ones canceling events are showing true leadership.

Meanwhile the Democrats are out there rallying and trying to get people to vote in six states on Tuesday. How many people will get the virus from the voting crowds? How many will be able to get tested?

There are just too man questions to be able to fully understand what is going on with the Coronavirus in the United States.
