Hillary Clinton’s 2016 national press secretary—and current CNN commentator—Brian Fallon slammed Judge Brett Kavanaugh as an “attempted rapist.”
Fallon also threatened that Kavanaugh would “not serve for life.”
Taking to Twitter, Fallon wrote:
If Senate GOP ignores Dr. Blasey Ford and tries to muscle an attempted rapist onto the Supreme Court:
1. They will pay dearly this November.
2. Senators up in 2020 (Collins, Gardner et al) will feel intense heat for next two years.
3. Kavanaugh will not serve for life.— Brian Fallon (@brianefallon) September 27, 2018
Fallon also retweeted someone else’s tweet, which referenced Justice Clarence Thomas as having “lied under oath in the face of credible allegations of sexual assault” and also referenced how Republicans “stole” a Supreme Court seat from President Obama.
Fallon has a long history of controversial tweets, including comparing a leftwing domestic terror group to World War II troops who stormed the beaches on D-Day.
Despite Fallon’s crazed tweet, the response to Kavanaugh’s performance at the U.S. Senate has been largely positive from conservatives—including President Donald Trump, who said that Kavanaugh showed “exactly” why he had been chosen for Supreme Court.
