Jo-Ann Butler, a 17-year-old senior at Union Mine High School in El Dorado, California became enraged during English class when another student wore a Donald Trump MAGA hat.
The young woman grabbed the hat of the student’s head and said, “that’s a racist and hateful symbol.”
Things turned violent quick. The teacher was then slapped as he tried to remove the angry student that was yelling and cursing and the boy wearing the hat allegedly was struck as well.
Butler is now facing two counts of batter, one for the teacher and one for the student.

This isn’t just an isolated event. People all over the country are being harassed for wearing “make America great again” hats.
