The Republicans fear of a blue wave in November is growing as Ted Cruz’s chances of winning his Senate seat dwindles.
Friday’s release of the Cook Political Report shows a change in the Texas showdown between Democrat Beto O’Rourke and Senator Ted Cruz. Cruz is no longer leading, the report says it is now a toss-up.
Three Senate ratings changes today: #MTSEN: Likely D to Lean D ⇨#TXSEN: Lean R to Toss Up ⇦#WVSEN: Toss Up to Lean D ⇦

Along with Texas, West Virginia and Montana shifted left a little bit. If a state like Texas can’t hold of the blue wave, can any?
Beto O’Rourke is all of a sudden a rising star in the Democratic Party and that is helping fuel his rise. O’Rourke has had the benefit of national money and support pouring into his campaign recently and even Willie Nelson supporting the Democrat for Senate.
Three years ago, Ted Cruz was a front-runner for the Republican nomination for president. Now he is in real jeopardy of losing his Senate seat in what has become the most watched race of the mid term elections.
If Cruz is in trouble in Texas, the Republicans are likely going to be in trouble in November.
