Planned Parenthood Epically Fails With PSA

Planned Parenthood has released an ad attacking Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte and twisting her intentions into something to fit their agenda. Cue for surprise.

The “PSA” criticizes Ayotte and claims she and other Republicans want to shut down the government in order to defund the “Women’s Health” organization. While it is true that Senator Ayotte and other senators have voted repeatedly to pull funding from Planned Parenthood, especially after videos surfaced that implicated them in the practice of illegal abortion procedures and the sale of fetal body parts, it is not true that they are calling for a government shutdown to do so.

The ad employs the tactic of cutting to heartstring-tugging images; an older gentleman asking about his VA Benefits, an elderly woman asking about Medicare, a small business owner, and a mother. All the while probing the question, “What would a government shutdown mean for us?”

Planned Parenthood’s feeble attempt to discredit Senator Ayotte comes after a close vote in congress on a bill that would cut all government subsidies going to the organization. The bill just missed being passed by a margin of eight votes, a worrisome figure for Planned Parenthood. A Bloomburg article even quotes Sen. Ayotte as saying, “I think that we should ensure that we do not have a government shutdown.”

If anything is counter to Planned Parenthood’s claims it should be the antithesis of what they say she wants coming directly from the slandee’s mouth a full two weeks before the ad was even aired.

To further the egg on the face of those campaigning to instill faith the the group even after the ridiculous attempt to cover up their essential black market trade for infant organs and tissue, a government shutdown would not even affect the apparent victims starring in the ad. After the 2013 shutdown it’s known that only a small number of the people using those benefit programs would suffer.

As weak a ploy the ad is to draw attention away from the barbaric and inconceivably base actions of Planned Parenthood, there are still those defending it. They believe that the government should funnel money that could be going into the programs far more worthy of our support than a group that says a woman shouldn’t even be aware of the actual procedural steps of an abortion should the concept of ending a potential life be too disturbing to her.

Are there really those among us that would say the people in the ad like the Veteran, the widow, children, or the small business owner should go without programs in place to make a better country for them instead of those who consider baby hearts, livers, and muscles just “tissue samples” for which they should be “compensated”?

Will the public and the government allow Planned Parenthood to keep masquerading as a helping hand? Or will 2016 finally see and end to their back alley dealings?
