President Trump’s economy is shattering records… but rich liberals hate Trump so much that they’re praying for a recession.
During a panel discussion on the economy, comedian and pundit Bill Maher expressed frustration that the economy is so good, and expressed his hope that it collapses before Trump’s re-election.
“I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point, and by the way, I’m hoping for it because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy,” said Maher. “So please, bring on the recession. Sorry if that hurts people but it’s either root for a recession, or you lose your democracy.”
Maher, who hosts “Real Time” on HBO, has a net worth of $100 million.

Since almost the day of President Trump’s election, the economy has taken off. Unemployment has dropped to just 3.8 percent—tying for the lowest unemployment rate since 1969. Unemployment is also at historic lows for Latinos and African-Americans.
The American people have noticed: 68% of them, according to a recent poll, credit the President with the economy.
Considering that Trump’s approval rating is in the mid-40s, that means 20% of the American public doesn’t like the President but still thinks his economic policies have been stellar.
But even as the strong economy continues to enrich the American people, create jobs, and secure a stronger future, liberals like Maher hate Trump so much that they’re actually rooting for failure.
