The CEO to worker pay gap
Liberals will argue that CEOs take massive bonuses, and if they just dispersed them among their employees, everyone would be better off. Until that pesky basic arithmetic gets in the way.
Let’s use McDonald’s as an example (as liberals love to do!). McDonald’s and its franchisees employ about 1.8 million people worldwide. If its CEO’s $9.5 million compensation package for 2014 was redistributed evenly among them, it would raise everyone’s salary by less than a penny an hour, assuming the average employee works 25 hours per week. Let your liberal cousin chew on that math problem.
