In true Trump fashion, the president boasted about his administrations accomplishments to the U.N. and they didn’t respond the way he thought they would. The laughter caught Trump off guard, but he recovered.
With the way that the media reports on Trump, it is no wonder the world leaders would get a chuckle.
There is no doubt that the economy is booming, but to claim more accomplishments than any other president in history might be a bit of a reach. His claim is hard to prove, but that’s just how Trump talks. On the world’s stage, Trump’s relationship with North Korea has calmed a bad situation. If he continues to work with countries that past presidents ignored, it could mean a safer America. Something we all want.
Trump has proven time and time again that despite people laughing at him and all the negative attacks, he can still win. If anything the response at the U.N. plays in his favor. He’s the underdog, and in his short political career he has continued to exceed expectations.
